Modernizing an interface is not about putting the same fields on a web form. A poorly designed web application can be slower than the green screen it replaces. This demo walks a real merchandising workflow, recreated from actual 5250 screens with identifying values altered: selecting stores, reviewing item attributes, and entering a price change across three separate programs. Then it shows the single modern view that handles all three, with the business logic underneath unchanged. Real modernization reduces screens, eliminates memorized codes, and surfaces context where the operator needs it.
